Non-Carving Class Activities

At this time, there are only two classes scheduled. On Tuesday (9/23), Louise Stevens will teach a beading class on the "Sidewinder" Bracelet. If you were at the Spring Roundup, you probably saw the bracelet either while she was making one at the Tatsch House or on her table at the Craft Show. She will provide all the supplies and tools needed for the class. The beads will be clear irridescent and the bracelet will go well with any color you might wear. The cost will be $6.00 and she will accept up to four students per class. She will teach additional classes if there is interest. (See included picture.)

On Wednesday (9/24), Ginger Seurkamp will teach a class on making beaded bookmarks. These are really unique and Ginger has offered to teach at least two classes if there is enough interest. She will provide all supplies needed as well as any tools for the class. The cost will be $5.00 for each bookmark and she will accept up to six students in each class. (See included picture.)

If anyone else is interested in teaching a class or leading an activity, please contact Louise Stevens by e-mail at johnny.stevens2@gte.net or by mail at: Louise Stevens, 960 Pecan Street, Azle, TX 76020. Louise is in Colorado for the summer and will probably be home by 9/8 and you can reach her by phone at home at 817-444-1286. Remember to contact Denise Twitty with your recipes for the TWG cookbook. We look forward to seeing you all in Kerrville in September.
