HARTT,
DON
|
Don
will be teaching his Fancy Canes again and will do six one-day classes.
The students can schedule as many days as they want, from 1 to 6
days. However, he strongly suggests you take at least three days.
Out of the classes he's done so far, he has never had anyone complete
the project in less than three days. Some of the patterns he installs
on the sticks can be done in three days, but there are a lot of
patterns that cannot be completed in only three days. Time required
for completion is dependent upon the pattern the student chooses.
If a student wants to schedule three or more days, the days do not
have to be consecutive. Also, if someone signs up and pays for five
days but completes their stick in 3 or 4, they can receive a refund
for the remaining day(s) they do not need. You will learn how to
put on a fancy pattern and how to carve and finish it. After this
class you should be able to do your own fancy cane without help
from anyone. Extra blanks will be available at a cost of $35 to
$80. Tools required: carving knives, gouges, and a background tool
which will be available from the instructor for $10. Don has a website
where finished canes and blanks with an assortment of patterns can
